Biography

After graduating from OSU, Howard Yang joined National Semiconductor Corporation in Santa Clara, California as a Senior Design Engineer. He moved to Chips and Technologies Inc. and Pericom Semiconductor Corporation from 1990 to 1994, before joining Shanghai Belling Corporation as Director of New Product Development. He cofounded New Wave Silicon in 1997 and helped grow the company's net worth to $85 million before it merged with Integrated Device Technology (IDT) in April 2001. Yang is currently Vice President of IDT and General Manager of their China subsidiary, IDT-Newave Technology C. Ltd.
